Utica Tainter Gate Dam

STS Steel provided two tainter gates, each measuring 30-foot long and weighing 39 tons, and two elevated walkways, each weighing seven tons as well as several machined items. Several of the components are fracture critical. STS Steel fully assembled each tainter gate in our shop, ensuring a smooth field installation. Six different 3-coat paint systems were applied per project specifications.
