TF Green Airport Intermodal Station (formerly Warwick Intermodal Station)
This 1,700 ton, $10 million steel project is comprised of elevated walkway bridges, including a 167-foot span truss bridge which was lifted into place in one piece at night connecting the terminal to parking garage and rail station. Most of the erection was conducted over existing roadways and parking during normal airport operations. Much of the steel was architecturally exposed with sophisticated paint.
