Railroad Bridges over Glenridge Road
To widen Glenridge Road from one to two lanes, NYSDOT worked with the B&M and D&H Railroads to replace two old railroad bridges with longer plate girder bridges. STS assembled each entire bridge structure in the shop ensuring accurate hole locations for easy field assembly. The girders were 35 tons each on the D&H bridge and 31 tons each on the B&M bridge.
