151st Street Bridge Project

Located in New York City at West 151st Street, this pedestrian bridge extends over Amtrak rails and four lanes of the Henry Hudson Parkway providing access to Riverside Park. The arch designed bridge was comprised of four pieces, two large “knuckles” weighing approximately 16 tons each and two biaxial curved tapered arch sections, one at 137 feet weighing 40 tons and the other at 92 feet weighing approximately 26 tons. The single span bridge of 270 feet also includes ADA compliant switchback ramp allowing access for people of all abilities to enjoy.
